Why Holston?
Students enrolled in an online summer course with Holston Academy can choose from a wide range of courses in our catalog to meet their specific needs. Whether they need to repeat a course with tutoring support or want to take an advanced course to lighten their load for the fall, Holston Academy has something for every student’s need.
- A semester course can be completed in just six weeks and students will receive an accredited transcript upon completion
- Students can complete their summer courses anytime between May 5th and August 31st
- Students can complete their coursework at the time of day that works best for their schedule and learn at the pace that they’re most comfortable
- One-to-one teacher support and add-on tutoring services give students the confidence to succeed in their summer courses
What to Expect
Students interested in enrolling in an online summer course should complete the online application as a first step. After enrollment, students will gain access to their course and be assigned to a teacher who will provide personalized support. Coursework can be completed at their own pace, with the ability to finish a course in six to twelve weeks.
Teacher Support
Students are paired with a teacher for their online summer course who will grade their work and provide personalized feedback. Should the student need to review concepts further, they can schedule one-on-one time with their teacher.
Accredited Transcript
Students receive an accredited transcript upon completion of their summer course, which can be transferred to their school of record. Holston Academy is accredited by Cognia and WASC, and many of our courses are NCAA approved and UC a-g approved.
Optional Tutoring
We recognize that many students are taking summer courses to make up credits, and would benefit from the support of a tutor. Online tutoring is available to students for an additional fee during their summer courses.

Summer Program Tuition
Summer school officially begins on May 5, 2025 and ends August 31, 2025. Students can enroll and begin their courses at any time during the summer. Students may take two courses per six week session.

Summer course enrollments incur a $50 registration fee. Registration fees are non-refundable.
