Whether your student needs to catch up in a subject area or wants to get ahead for the fall, Holston Academy’s summer courses are a great option for Middle and High School students.

With the ability to earn course credits in just four weeks, students can take advantage of completing multiple courses over the summer months. Students can enroll in elective courses focused on special interests and career paths such as art, computer science, and business. Holston Academy offers more than 25 Advanced Placement® courses for students who want to take advantage of the summer months to enroll in an Advanced Placement® course.

What to Expect
Students interested in enrolling in an online summer course should complete the online application as a first step. After enrollment, students will gain access to their course and be assigned to a teacher who will provide personalized support. Coursework can be completed at their own pace, with the ability to finish a course in four to twelve weeks.
Teacher Support
Students are paired with a teacher for their online summer course who will grade their work and provide personalized feedback. Should the student need to review concepts further, they can schedule one-on-one time with their teacher.
Accredited Transcript
Students receive an accredited transcript upon completion of their summer course, which can be transferred to their school of record. Holston Academy is accredited by Cognia and WASC, and many of our courses are NCAA approved and UC a-g approved.
Optional Tutoring
We recognize that many students are taking summer courses to make up credits, and would benefit from the support of a tutor. Online tutoring is available to students for an additional fee during their summer courses.
Summer Program Tuition
Summer school officially begins on May 22, 2024 and ends August 27, 2024. Students can enroll and begin their courses at any time during the summer. Students may take two courses per four week session.

Students may add on tutoring, SAT/ACT prep, additional AP® courses & Dual Enrollment, Premier Partner electives, and Live World Language instruction for an additional charge. Please contact our Admissions department for more information.
Summer course enrollments incur a $50 registration fee. Registration fees are non-refundable.
