Accreditations & Approvals

Accreditation should be one of the top considerations when researching educational options for your child.

An Accredited Education You Can Trust

Enrolling your child in an accredited private school ensures they’re receiving a high-quality education that has been accepted nationally and internationally. As a California registered private school, students graduating from Holston Academy receive a California private high school diploma. Anyone taking single courses receives an official transcript upon completion of their course.

What is Accreditation?

The accreditation process ensures that schools meet high-quality educational and operational standards, and shows schools, colleges and universities worldwide that credits were earned through rigorous, standards-based curriculum. A school that has received accreditation has gone through a review of their internal processes and systems by an external party to show they meet a high standard of education. This process is ongoing, meaning the school is required to demonstrate how well their policies, programs, and practices are working together to meet the needs of every learner. Since being granted accreditation status is not a one-time event, schools are held accountable to proving their continuous improvement and student achievements. Students attending accredited schools can be confident that the credits they earn from their courses will be recognized by other high schools, colleges, and universities. Our school has received accreditations and approvals from the following institutions:

Accredited by WASC

WASC is one of six regional accrediting agencies in the United States whose accreditation validates the integrity of a school’s program and transcripts, and assures that the school’s goals are appropriate and being accomplished. This accreditation is a certification that the school is committed to continuous improvement and high-quality learning.
