Fly.te Performance Proudly Partners with Holston Academy to Provide Online Education for their Athletes

Student athletes benefit from a college-preparatory online education that is both flexible and challenging. Fly.te Performance has partnered with Holston Academy to offer their players in grades 6-12 access to an accredited, flexible online private school for summer courses.
Our Approach
At Holston Academy, we recognize student-athletes need flexibility to train and travel without compromising the quality of their academic experience. We take a personalized approach to learning, which means meeting each student where they are, recognizing their unique strengths, opportunities, and learning preferences. This involves tailoring educational experiences to align with each student’s individual pace of progress, encouraging students to develop mentor-mentee relationships with their Academic Coach and teachers, and empowering students to take ownership of their education, fostering a more engaging and effective learning process.

Our Curriculum
Students can choose from more than 300 online courses in our course catalog including middle school, college prep, honors, Advanced Placement® (AP), and Dual Enrollment. Academic Coaches help students select the best courses for their abilities and future goals when developing their Personalized Learning Plan, while also taking into account their commitments outside of school.

Accreditation and Approvals
Enrolling your child in an accredited private school ensures they’re receiving a high-quality education that has been accepted nationally and internationally. As a California registered private school, students graduating from Holston Academy receive a California private high school diploma. Anyone taking single courses receives an official transcript upon completion of their course.

My favorite part about doing online school is that my family and I can travel more. We travel often for sports and for pleasure, and it’s so nice for [our daughter] to be able to work on the road so she can still enjoy her time wherever we are. We wanted her to have a structured environment, but one that was flexible enough for our needs.
