Course Overview:
This online elective course explores the critical role of agriculture, food production, and natural resource management in sustaining the planet—especially as the global population approaches 11 billion by 2050. Students trace the history and technological evolution of agriculture while examining modern practices in animal husbandry, plant science, power and structural systems, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
Through interactive units covering careers, leadership, recordkeeping, plant biology, resource management, and environmental impact, learners will develop the knowledge and skills to support future agricultural and conservation efforts.
