Course Overview:

This Mandarin 3 live online course is designed to help students continue to enlarge their Mandarin vocabulary to about 600 words, and to be familiar with Mandarin sentence structure, use of tenses, and some Chinese culture. After this course, students should be able to communicate confidently in familiar topics and handle everyday social interactions. Students learn from simple videos, songs, and authentic materials, while instructors will help students understand Chinese culture and foster their ability to use Mandarin to talk about events in various time frames. The central themes of the course are food and cooking, Chinese table manners, education systems, environmental problems, new energy sources, holidays, social taboos, and gender.
